What did you drive BEFORE your 'Vette?
What did you drive before you got your Corvette? An SUV? A "soccer mom" minivan? An "old man" sedan? A beat up pickup? A motorcycle? Tell us what you called your wheels before you got your dream car.
OK, I'll go first. Before s'noJob found a home in my garage, I was driving a green '01 Toyota Camry Solara. Talk about Corvette's opposite.

The trends I'm seeing is that most of you saw a "need for speed" before getting your 'Vette. I guess my life was eventually leading to a C5 when I drove an MGB and a '72 240Z, but most of my cars were underpowered coupes, (think VW Beetle and Datsun B210.) Some of you have admitted to driving a "commoner's" car, but a lot of you probably had seen a future 'Vette quickly approaching in your rear view mirror. -- s'noJob --

02 Acura TL - Picture from last day of ownership. Since the Corvette is my daily driver I decided to sell this and buy a newer one when kids arrive.

My 'Vette was a fleet add-on! My Wife's 2001 Mustang Bullitt GT took the axe with 10K original miles (I said use it or lose it)! And my 1970 Mustang Mach I project car also fell to the axe. The clincher, the Targa top on the 'vette, we liked the idea of a quickly removable hard-top! No regrets, I wanted a Z06, she the targa coupe, well we did sell HER car, so the Z06 lost out. I'm glad, I like my coupe!
