I did the same thing in my GFs 2000 Olds V6 about 6 months ago. (Put Trans. in the Oil) I saw the red fluid on the first glug and stoped. I did not drain it and have had no problems.

For the money invested and the potenial cost if it screws something up, I'd drain it. I've always been told that ATF is HIGHLY detergent and will scrub the insides of your baby. Now, that little bit you put in there may not be a big deal but if it is....
Again, little cost now to fix...

30 YEARS AGO, BEFORE THE DAYS OF HIGH-TECH ADDITIVES, IT WAS A EASY FIX FOR STICKING HYD. LIFTERS TO SUBSTITUTE A QT. OF ATF IN THE CRANKCASE. I FEEL CERTAIN THAT A COUPLE OF OUNCES OF ATF WILL NOT HURT YOUR ENGINE, BUT IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER...........

It should not do anything. I was told that if you had to you could mix the two. If it will be in storage leave it like that and just change the oil again in the spring.

Just the fact that you are asking opinions, means that you have concerns. It will probably be perfectly fine,
but you should just change it, so you don't have that little voice in your head keep saying,
"Should I, or shouldn't I?"

I agree completely...............won't hurt a thing, way too small an amount to hurt the engine. I used to add a quart of ATF to old engines that hadn't had regular oil changes to clean them out.......no problems what so ever.

Have you ever heard of MARVEL MYSTERY OIL? (marvelmysteryoil.com)
I wouldn't change it, if it were me, but it's your car to do with as you please.

I've done this before on OLD TIRED ENGINES
C'mon - this your vette, your Baby. Drain it and start over - cheap insurance against anything bad happening.
Besides if you leave it, you're going to be in a constant worry that the motor is about to disentegrate at any second!
Lower your stress level - drain it...

One caution... Too much ATF will remove sludge and also might ruin your compression. A lil bit shouldn't hurt.
Use the drained oil in another car. It will like the synthetic oil and might want a steady diet of it in the future. BIGHANK

Probably will not do any damage, but as most are stating, play it safe and drain....You'll feel better if nothing else, if your like me, it'll bug you until you drain... Good luck...
