About $63 and that includes extra for a specialty license plate. It would be probably $15-20 less, if I had a regular plate.

Gosh and I thought that was high!

Good thing we don't have personal property taxes and all that stuff too!

Registration Fee is around $200.00 here in MD for 2 yrs. Everything went up:

Heating OIL - running me $300.00 a month
Electricity up by 50% (Thank you deregulation!)
Gas is going out of sight - $3.00 a gallon for premium
Water - $200.00 every quarter.

Sucks!

Here in Wisconsin it was $55.00 for annual registration. Just this past week our wonderful Governor Diamond Jim Doyle signed the new budget. He ran on no new taxes but is jacking up the registration fee to $75.00.

Still really cheap for you even though he is a liar like all the other politicians. Here in Calif my 2001 license fee is $195, even after the terminator rolled back the former governor increase. Got to give him credit for that, and the fact he put a veto on illegal's having a driver license, Dems idea

The sad part is we as a people keep voting these ******** into office and they create bills to tax each and everyone of us.

History tells us something, I bet in another couple hundred years this civilization will no longer exists.

We will keep it up until there is no income left, just work and the government takes it all automatically.

Not picking on your posts, just blown away by those numbers.

Jet-Jock, Man I agree!!! It gets even better; I have a 2007 Tahoe and it was actually more. On top of that our tags in Georgia renew on your birthday. so for my birthday I get to go to the tag office and give them a grand. Happy Birthday to me!!!!

Ditto in FL too on the birthday thing. But no where near those kinds of fees. Missouri is that way too, my brother lives there.

I think I'm going to retire in New Mexico.

Indiana has Excise, wheel, and several other taxes. We just registered my wife's 01... and these taxes just went down quite a bit.

County tax: $177.00 (reduced from 294.00)
Wheel tax 15.00
Plate fee: 20.75
State fee: 40.00
Title fee: 20.00

$272.75

They go by "class" and age of vehicle. My 04 Escalade is over $350/yr, which is higher than my wife's 07 CTS.
