Default CABC, Atlanta Motor Speedway. Dial-Up Beware

Wow what an awesome day for Breast Cancer Awareness and Corvette's at Atlanta Motor Speedway yesterday followed by an all corvette show at Summit Racing in McDonough, GA. What an outstanding job by the folks that organized the event. If you missed it they you really missed out. Here are some shots from the event.

In the garage getting ready to go.

Lined up on pit road.

GrandpasC502 on the track.

A few of the cars at the show.

Here is a picture of Grandpa and the grandkids reflecting of the hood.

If you hit 155 coming out of turn 4 you definitely passed me (there were a few) although there was another Mag Red Vert that was identical to mine right down to the Mag Red calipers. I was running about 115 coming out of turn 4. Hit my highest speeds coming into turn 3 at 135. Had the grandkids in the car and was not about to take any chances. Car was very stable at 135. Like it was on rails.

My highlight was passing 2 of the 4 Vipers that were there by special invitation.

Can't wait to see your pictures! Awesome event!!!!!

Can't wait to see your pictures! Awesome event!!!!!

That was probably me with the other Mag Red Vert and Mag Red Calipers. I was also one of the volunteers working the track. I was the guy at the gate directing everyone into pit row to get lined up for the track and the pace car. I was finally able to get on the track for a couple of rounds at the end. I also hit my highest speeds on the back straight away going into turn three at about 125. The car drove great. This event was an absolute blast. What a great even for a wonderful cause. I am looking forward to working with the club for next years event!!

Glad you made it and hope to see you and even more of the Corvette enthusiasts next year!
