Clear bra
Who has the clear bra protection? Can you see its on there and how well does it seem to work? I take it you just wax around it then?
How much did it cost installed?
Thinking about something on the front and the other areas on the sides, behind the rear tires that are prone to chips.

I put it onto my '07 and wish I had it on my '99. The '99 needs a paint job for the entire front end, hood and mirrors. Whenever I can afford to get it painted, it will get a clear bra on it right away after the paint cures.

I have the AutoBahn brand of clear bra on my '05, and I love it! It has prevented many dings, I'm sure. It cost $695...slightly more than the Speed Lingerie bra, and the invisible bra is on 100% of the time. Some colors show the seam more than others. Mine is not very noticeable.

I dont have one on my vette, but I do on my black sedan. I love it on my other car, but you can see it (barely) against the black paint. I think it is a great investment if you drive alot of highway miles.

I have one and it makes all the difference. Washed the car today after a little run and noted that there were a couple of dings in the clear bra, but not through to the paint. That's what it's all about!
Cost varies widely. but make certain that you get someone who knows how to wrap a C5 front end properly. And do the trailing edge of all wheel openings and the mirrors.

Here are some pics installed on black 2001.
I just posted the details on my installation last week http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1837377
It took a while to get a camera angle/lighting condition where the seams would show up at all, but I finally got them to barely show up at sundown (so that you could see the transition areas). The yellow areas point to some of the major transition lines.
I also installed it on the headlight covers, side mirrors, etc.
The results I got were PERFECT (not a single visible air bubble or trapped piece of dust, etc.). I have told several people what I did and they just walk around the front of the car saying "Where is it". If you cannot see it on "black" that is pretty amazing. I can say I am 100% satisfied both with the product and the service.

Ive had a 3M bra on our Z06 from the day we bought it and I love it. Ive also had one on our Cobra and will get one soon for our FRC. You can just wax the bra too, it wont hurt it. We installed ours on our own, its a bit tricky but not that bad. It was about $250-300 for the bumper, lights, fenders, mirrors and wheels wells I believe.

I don't have it on mine, but have seen it on some C5s. Not real noticable, but if you look hard enough you can see it, especially on the hood. I had a local place quote me a price for an install and it was $650.

3M web site has a list of authorized installers by state. I had it put on my yellow 2000 last summer. You can barely see the cut lines. I wax it same as the rest of the car.
For front bumper cover and rocker panels up to the door openings was $800. Did not have rear of wheel openings done as I have spats on there.
