Works mint, vented bothe valve covers into breather Canton breather can, CCA catch can in place as well, no issues on race track have checked cans after each session, all is good.
Used the set up from a 97, the black hard plastic pipe with insulation around it, had the 90 elbow to fit into the drivers side rocker gromet then pulled the rubber Y adapter from where it sits behind the intake on an LS1 and moved it around to the pass side where it lines up perfect with the rocker cover vent tube, plug the rubber Y adapter into the rocker on one side and the hard plastic pipe from drivers side then into the breather can. So slick when you can use old parts like that.
Just need to get the Canton can re-anodized over the winter Red to match.
Here you can see the rubber Y fitting, just moved to the side

As far as space/size of the unit and the time crunch I was under for the track day, the way it sits gives the best clearance. People think it is NOS!! When the winter comes and I change the colour on the tank I will see if I can get the can shaved down by an inch, thats all it needs to go straight. It could have mounted up on the front frame bar at the rf headlight if you need to run some more hose. I will also change the filter element to one with a shroud so the element can not be seen, big ticket around here if the Police see it.
As well I used a hole that was there and made a small hole in the rad cap, the first time the car has had a part drilled, I talked myself into it due to the fact I can replace it with no problem! All the mods to the car short of the painted wheels etc can be put back to stock with no evidence!
