soooo... Lets say that you had a blown up ls6 out of an '01 ZO6, and a chance to buy a stock ls2 out of a GTO for about $3k. Do you take it and put a cam in it, or rebuild the ls6 ?

Also where do i go to get these P&P harnesses?

here check this out....

a stock LS2 crate is going to run you close to $6000, and your buying parts you already have that dont really wear out/break. looking at about 345rwhp

or...

you can spend $3000 on a forged bottom end, $1000 on headers, throw in a nice head/cam package for another $1000-$1200, even buy a FAST 90 setup for another $700-$800. your still under $6000 and you have a built bottom end you wont have to worry about. looking at 450+rwhp

so... $6000 for a stock 350rwhp car, or $6000 for a custom built mean sounding bullet proof 450rwhp car???

the choice should be easy!!

and yes you are about that whole original thing unless you plan on keeping it 30 years or so and even then who knows we might all be driving golf carts
