First time Vette owner here!!!!
Hey guys! I have been lurking here for quite a while, and on Friday I purchased my first Corvette! I have wanted one of these since I was a little kid!
She is an Electron Blue 2003 Z06 with 19,800 miles on it! It has a Stinger Borla exhaust, new intake, and 19" & 20" Chrome Z06 style wheels with 335's in the back!
I got her for $31,500. I am so happy with this car I have driven it over 200 miles in 5 days!
I am so excited I can barley contain myself! The only down side is that it makes driving my highly modded '98 Z28 miserable! I may just sell it.

I have always has a fast car since I was 16. But I have worked my way up to the top finally!
My first car was a 80 Chevelle, my dad and I build a nice 350 for it. Then I had an LT1 Z28, then went to a LS1 Z28, and now of course my new love
Thanks for the great comments guys.

Quality time!
Ok Today is my first day off since I bought the new Z.
I got to tinker with it a bit, and did the following:
Discovered that It has a V-Ram intake!
Removed airbag warning sticker.
Cleaned and oiled the foam air filter (it was bone dry)
Did the TB bypass mod.
Adjusted headlights.
Cleaned the radiator. It had over 2 handfulls of grass wedged up there! I am surprised it didn't run hotter that 205* in this FL weather!
Well that is all for today... it is way too hot out. Now I am going to Advance and get some more goodies!

The grass really accumulates in the radiator, glad to see you figured that out. You should eventually think about fully bleeding the brakes and clutch cylinder. Even if you aren't going to run the car hard, I'd go with a synthetic DOT 4 fluid, usually compatible with your DOT 3 and has a much higher boiling point. Use Royal Purple for extreme conditions. There are some great posts on brake and clutch cylinder fluid change overs.
Hope you have as great a time as I've had since owning the car!
