US Army 72-79
DOD Civilian 79-present
VN 73
OIF 2005-07
My C5 was my gift to myself for doing 18 months in the desert. It was my humble honor to serve with today's military patriots. The highest motivated, most well equipped, trained, and by military standards, led killing force in history. Unlike my VN experience, I am very pleased that the country supports our fighting men and women. When you see one of these young troops, take a minute to just say thanks for what they do.

Racer
U.s. Air Force
Air Force, 1958 to 1968. Flew F4s out of Ubon, Thailand in 1965.
Shot down by ground fire, 20 June 1965, making a bomb run on Son La, NV. Navy Skyraider got a Mig 17 (On Dogfights last night) during my first rescue attempt by Air America. The chopper got shot up but the same crew came back and got me out the next day, thanks to two Navy Skyraider Pilots who finally spotted me.
The other pilot was captured and spent 7 1/2 years in Hanoi.
Thank You, to all the Brave Airmen who put their *** on the line to rescue us, they are my Heroes.
God's Speed to all our troops that are in Harms Way.
Sincerely, Curt
