Jey I like the way you sunk the lift.I'm going to be doing a garage in Jan. or Feb. and I'm getting ideas. How much and where did you get the lift? How big and deep is the pit?I think the set up is great and might fit my budget....Thanks......Mac

I am just building mine, which is nice, I am getting many good ideas here!
Long way to go. Radiant pex tubing is in the floor.
Just had the floor poured. As soon as its ddry enough I will epoxy it. I might do race deck later, but I wanted to seal it first.

I get so many ideas from these threads.
Here's my shop (and house) in progress. Building it ourselves, so it's going slow. Garage is 32x31 (original submitted plans to the county were 32x48 but the max for R1 (code) is 1k sq ft in this backwards county. Grrr. 10' door on the right, 14' on the left, 12' 4" ceiling off the slab, 5" thick slab, 15" thick 3x4 "piers" under where the lift pads will be (overkill but I don't want floor cracks).
Best part is they are paving a road behind our property that cuts back into hwy 53 and dumps out right at the Road Atlanta entrace, so I can be there in about 3 mins. Close enough to bleed brakes on the lift/eat at home during lunch at track days
I've also got a parking garage on the house, and a 25x23' area in the basement with a roll up door. I'm calling it the "shop annex"

My focus has been more on the cars than the garage. Right now I actually have both hot rods running. I recently added a new TH-400 tranmission to the Nova, and replaced the steering rack in the C5.
