Just moved up to a 2000 C5
Hi all! My name is Mike (1991 C4)and I've been a member for a few years. i had a 1991 Black L98. Had her for almost exactly 3 years but a friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So I started looking for another vette and ended up picking this one up in Henderson, NV 4 weeks ago.
Going to my first car show with this car next weekend sponsored by Skyline corvettes in Reading PA. Wish me luck!!

Great looking car,,,,but,,,,,you shouldn't have bought a totally unmodded car like that! Just kidding,,,,you are gonna LOVE it if you don't already!

Congratulations
Nice looking and I like those C6 wheels too. I must say that the graphics are nice as well. Were they on there when you bought it? How does your gas mileage compare between the two cars? I went on a 185 mile Corvette and Cobra cruise and ran the pants off of my convertible in the mountains east of San Diego with about 50+ 'vettes and still averaged over 21 MPG! C-5's are "econoboxes"

Congrats!
I have a Y2k coupe as well and it's been reliable and problem free. You're especially going to love the cargo capacity for those road trips and shows.

Over all, I had never even drove a C5 till I got in this one and I'm loving it.

A grate vette is worth going to get. Looking good.
It looks like your wheels are sold allready what did you dis-like about the off sets? Did it have spacers on it?
Did thay stick out?
I remember going frome a c4 to the C5 grate move. IMO

The fronts fit fine they are 18s, but the backs are 19x10 and the offset wasn't enough so they rub on the inside of the wheel wells.
