Default Pricing Ideas

Before I post to C5 parts for sale (or e bay), was wondering what I might get for a stock set of C5 polished aluminum wheels with original GY tires (12,500 miles) off my 2004. Wheels and tires are in excellent condition.

Just installed C6 wheels with new tires.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have done a search but there doesn't appear to be a lot for sale out there. Either people aren't selling them, or they go quickly. Could only speculate.

Located in Chicago area.

Let us know if you find anything. I have a set of 04 CE polished wheels I've been thinking of selling.

I'm going to be needing new tires before long. Bought the '03 used and the rims have some pitting on them. I would like to replace the rims and could do it while getting tires. BUT, if I could find both at a good deal would consider that idea.

I had to move the TPS's to my new wheels. Should be easy to install yours. I was thinking $1500, but would be happy with $1200. Would be glad to send pics but only able to send to e mails. I don't seem to have them formatted correctly to attach to the forum site.

I will see what UPS will Charge to ship to the East coast and post to this thread. Gives some time to think about it.

BTW, just spent a week in Savannah, GA. Great town to tour on foot. Highly recommend.

I paid $1100 for a near-perfect set two years ago. Several people passed on them before I offered full price. I had been looking to replace my wagon wheels and needed new rear tires, which would have cost $800 alone. These were local so I jumped.

I was thinking in the area of $1000-1100. Could be off a bit though - check the for sale section and see what others have priced them at.

In other words, you gave them away.

Great advice by all.

I'll post them for sale at C5 parts. I'm one of those guys that regularly cleans and waxes the entire wheel. Somebody's going to get a great set for a great price.
