Same wheel width front and back

Will same wheel width front and back help or hurt handeling?
I am in the Ruff wheels group purchase that is going on and I was wondering if their is any advantage or disadvantage going with 9-1/2" width for the front and back wheels instead of the standard 8-1/2" front 9-1/2" rear stagger?

P.S. I am leaning towards 18" fronts and 19" rears and blasting through the twisties is what gets my juices flowing.

If it were me I'd like a bit wider rear wheel, say 10.5 or 11.". so that you could run 295 or 305's in the rear. On a 9.5 I think that about 285 is the limit.

I agree but I love the look of Ruffs and the price point is in my budget. The downside is that Ruff only makes their 20" wheels in 10.5 widths and from everything I have read on CF the lower profile sidewalls on tires that fit 20" wheels hurt the handling aspects on cornering. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You're wrong, and so are the things you've read. The only downside to 20" wheels is more rotating mass and a greater chance of bending a rim, due to very little rubber protecting it. Other than that, 20's will perform just as well as 18's and 19's, which is what the C6 has. It's highly likely that the C7 will have 19's and 20's in stock form.
