Could someone tell me - Was the 2004 Owner's Manual for a Z06 the same as the manual for a non Z06 Vette? I bought a Z06 from a dealer and the manual is for a 2004 Corvette but I believe that in 2004 the manuals were the same and the Z06 did not have a unique manual of it's own until 2005. Let me know. Thanks.

I think it's the same. Not 100% sure, but my 04 z manual looks pretty "generic".

My 04 Z06 covers both Z06 and regular Corvette...Um, but there was NO Z06 in 2005.

The 2004 Z came with ZO6 embossed on the front. It contains a pen,a tire guage, a little white note pad, and the manual itself all with the ZO6 on them. It did not come with a video tape in 2004 like some earlier Z's did. Skip

You can order the Owner's Manual for your 2004 (and the three Volume Service Manual if ya want it) from:

Some people have said that for some years they are no longer shipping the leather cover, but the C6 style "cloth" cover. Other than that, it is the OEM manual. Helm prints the Owner and Service Manuals for GM. The Owner's Manual applies to the coupe, convertible, and Z06.

The manual for the Z has ZO6 embosed on it and the other items as I mentioned above.

You are correct it came with a DVD. I saw someone on the Forum had a VHS tape from a 2003 Z and I bought that just to have it. Pretty good actually.

I firmly believe the "detailing shop" employees remove anything not secure in cars and sell the stuff on EBAY.
