Default What Is The Biggest All Corvette Show In The Country?

I recently attended the Lone Star Show and I'd say they had about 600 Vettes give or take a few present. Looks like Eureka Springs pulls in about 800 Vettes.

What is the biggest Corvette show in the country? How many does it pull? Is it at the National Museum? If so, what is the next biggest show. Can you provide a link to it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Mid America Motorworks had something like 14,000 cars last year,
and are expecting about 15,000 this year.

Thanks for the info. I noticed the show is in a field. I would think that could be a real mess if it rains. What time of the year is this show?

Does anybody happen to know how many vettes on average attend the carlisle meet in pennsylvania? I've heard it's one of the best. Just wondering how it compares to the mid america meet everyone is speaking of.

Carlisle brings numbers around 9,000 and I can't speak for Mid America's show, But have attended Carlisle a few times and was always impressed with the auction, flea market, many Vendors and organization as It's been going on for quite awhile. If you're on the fence have a look at the web site. www.carsatcarlisle.com/corvette/index.asp

Default Corvettes @ Carlisle

Corvettes @ Carlisle since 1982!!!!
Vettes and parts, brand new and old

Always last weekend in Aug (Fri Sat Sun)
Fri is best for one day
Sat is busiest but lots of action
Sun is your bargain day for left-overs. Things shut down pretty much after the late afternoon drawing for the traditional vette give-a-way. Entry ticket is your #.
Vette parking no charge on fairgrounds.

Tons of fun. Great management staff like Bill Miller.

Carlisle is more than a show. It is an event. The number of Corvettes may not be as large as Mid America's show but I bet the crowds are much larger.

Unfortunalty, its boring compared to Texas LoneStar show. I've been to both now, and I for sure rather have 600 Vettes and be able to drive them, then see 12,000 parked on a field

Carlisle may not have the largest number of cars, but is in my opinion, the best all-Corvette event in the country......bar none!
