Who has chosen NOT to lower their C/5 ?
A lot of threads are generated about lowering our cars. Who hasn't lowered their Vette, and why? Personally, I feel the car is low enough. It may look better, but I would worry about compromising the suspension if I lowered it.

I haven't. I love the way the car rides.I have heard enough complaints about lowering it to keep me from doing it. People having to buy Bilstein shocks and chassis saver bars, and cutting the air dam.The car looks great the way it is.

I have not lowered mine, I scrap as it is, why would I want more scraping ??
I was driving down the road and saw some "road kill" ahead so I centered the Vet over it like I do on my other cars, went over it and hit it !! OMG
I haven't been under there to see how things are, I'm hoping if I wait long enough it will just go away.

No lowering for me ...............
Not me,, this is how the car was designed, why modify something that works. I know a few drivers that have lowered their cars and worry about every speed bump, pot holes and what ever else is out there. Even a simple trip to the garage could be a nightmare if it can't go over the lift ..

My son has lowered his car - tires rub and he really has to be carefull just driving into a parking lot. I'm just not interested in the potential issues. Now having just said that - I reaally do like the look of a lowered car ALOT.

I think the car is low enough, but I will probably lower it in the future for looks. The spaces between the tops of the wheel wells and the tires are too big. If it wasn't for that, the car would look perfect at its stock height.

I figure the Corvette design team engineers are probably a LOT smarter than I am. If they were happy with the current design, so am I.
Besides, I have the driveway from hell. I have to cut in at a 45 degree angle now. Lowering the car would keep it out in the street. That ain't gonna happen.

I wouldn't lower, and I must be one of the few who thinks lowered doesn't look good. To each his own.

I think the car looks much better lowered, but if you choose not to do it, I still love your car. It is a CORVETTE and I love it!

here in north jersey the roads are bad. steep driveways (including my own) prevent me from entering many places, as it sits now. that said, i have considered a 1/2 inch all around for the same reason will82 pointed out. if its a problem i can just crank it back up.
