Default Want to use 18's up front

It's time to replace the tires and was thinking about going with the stock 18 in the back but replacing the stock 17's up front with 18's. What size should I go with? And, since I will need new rims all the way around, what is the best size 18 rear to complement the new 18's up front. I don't want to go above 18's in the rear.

Lastly, was looking at either the Kumho MX of GY F1's.

Any comments most appreciated.

I have 18 x 10.5 all around. I'm not sure if that helps you out any. It looks good. I'm not really into the staggared look.

I decided on 18 X 9 1/2 275/35/18 fronts and rears are 18 X 11 with 315/30/18s and no issues. Not a lot of selections in the 315, most go with 295s

My variation of this theme is 18x9.5 in front with 285/35-18's. The rears are 18x11.5's with 345/35-18's, but the rear is tubbed. The fronts work well and fill up the wheel openings.

Can't help with the tires, I'm running pilot sports.

18x9.5 Motorsports with BFG 265/35x18. Works and looks great for me.

I just put 18x10 Michelin PS2 275/35 - 18 on the front of mine. You'll get all kinds of answers, most of which are not wrong.

Hi caster,
Your intended choice of wheels isn't very clear, but if you're saying you plan on going with OEM 18x9.5" wheels on all four corners, then consider either a 265/35-18 or 275/35-18 in the front, and either a 275/40-18 or 285/40-18 for the rear.

Honestly, I think 18's all around is a very good choice!!

From a side view, the 17's just look too small in that front wheel well opening.
IMO, 18's fill it up much nicer!!

I also like the 18's in back if it's a coupe, but 19's in back if it's a FRC.

I have 18 x 9.5's in the front with 275/35/18 KDW2's
and....18 x 10.5's in the rear with 295/35/18 KDW2's

Here's a few sample pics..............................
