No sound clips, but it sounds good. Nice and quiet when cruising, but exotic when WOT... Had LG LT's with Ti's for over a year until I went with borla stingers. Now I just scare old people and make small children cry.

I have MTI custom headers, high flow x pipe with cats, and the stock ti cat back.
It breaths great, sounds great. Its almost perfect. Nice rumble at idle, little bit louder than stock. At WOT it sounds great, but not obnoxious like some of the other popular cat backs.
I have some other mods but until you ad cam and head work your TI system flows just fine. Anything else is just about the sound.
Im right at 400 rwhp with that exhaust, a callaway, and some other pretty simple mods.
I dont have a recording, and truthfully i wouldnt know how to get a decent one. My advice to you would be to ad the headers and the pipe, leave the stock cat back, and you really cant loose. Then if you dont like the sound you can always ad a Borla or another cat back of your choice.

Chip,
Thanks for posting up those vids. You can see my mods in my sig and it's a little too loud for me. I was definitely going to be too loud when I get my 440 inch motor installed so I decided to go back with the Ti system when I get the new motor to regain some of my cruising comfort. I had been wondering what my car would sound like now with the Ti system and that gives me a good idea.
Also, I noticed it said you have a DTE cam but what are the specs? What kind of power are you making? I couldn't quite make it out in vid since it's a small vid.

I have a 427 with LG longtubes, hi flow cats, and factory TI mufflers. The car makes 501rwhp and I absolutely love the sound. A bit throatier at idle, no difference at cruise according to my digital db meter, and simply symphonic at WOT. The burnout video posted with the TI's is a very good representation to mine at WOT.

1-3/4" LT w/no cats through the stock Ti exhaust. This sound was
incredible at wot.

It is a very mild custom grind cam (115 LSA). With that cam, QTP headers (good torque but don't make as much HP on the high-end), and a Stinger intake I made 367 rwhp and 356 rwtq. Stock (with a few bolt-ons that were removed) for my car was 305 rwhp and 321 rwtq. After adding AFR 205 heads, a Fast 90 intake, and LS2 90mm TB the car made 423 rwhp and 391 rwtq.
BTW, it's an A4 with 3.42 gears.
