What's the deal with BMW drivers?
It seems that every BMW driver I come across has something to prove. I travel through the local canyons daily and it never fails that when a BMW is behind me, they ride my a** Usually, there's traffic so there's is nowhere to go anyway. I've been driving through them for years (even at triple digits in my younger days) so it's not like I'm being overly cautious. Just this morning I had another idiot in a 5 series pull within one car length at 50+ mph. I won't go faster through that section because of driveways, bicycle riders, etc. Once I got onto a section that was "safe" with a lot of tight turns, I opened up a bit and gave him the big "see ya" and he quickly disappeared behind me only to ride me again when he caught up again on PCH (Pacific Coast Hwy). It's happened several times and only with BMWs. What gives?

It can be that way with ANY car ( or driver for the matter). But I can relate with you..lots of Beemers around here, and I get alot of them trying to play with me. The ultimate driving machine looks more like the ultimate garbage can.

Rice, Beeners, that stupid looking Dodge car, Porsches, not so much stangs. Pretty much the list and order for me.

Hey, BMW drivers have people to see, places to go!

He's trying to give you back that $100 bill you dropped at the gas station. And you just keep dissing him and driving away.

That's the weird thing. Once you blow off a Porsche or a ricer, they usually leave you alone. It's the Beemer crowd that's a glutton for punishment Ok, them and kids in their 'stangs (and Camaros and...), but that I get. Hell, I was one of them

I went on a road trip to St Louis with my friend in his BMW X5. I drove a while and have to say that SUV handles like the 3 series... Awesome... I wished I had my vette but those Beamers are fun to drive too.

Interesting. I was thinking of getting an X5 for my fiance since she wants an SUV. Obviously, it's not the car I object to, just the "attitude" of a lot of the owners. Fortunately, the SUV types don't seem to have it - or I'd have to tell her "No"

Mostly rice, here. One guy asked what I thought of honda powah. I replied, "It's great, I use it in my lawnmower."
