This is a new product so lets face it, there isn't going to be much info at all on these tires. I'm sure they aren't horrible, but I would certainly not expect them to be as good or better than the F1SC's, PS2's etc just based on marketing hype and what one or 2 people here are saying. I certainly hope they are, I just wouldn't bank on it. In time we'll eventually know.
I've seen this happen many times with tires, where there's hype when cheap foreign tires first come out to be as good or better than the current top flight choices, but than eventually turn out to be just another good for the money, but not in the same league tire.

I think its basically the same place. Holland being more specific of manufacturer's location.
The Netherlands is often referred to as "Holland". This usage is technically incorrect, as "Holland" is actually a region in the Netherlands.

I just got my Vredesteins from
TomZ Wheels. He has great prices on them.
The tires have been great. I've only experienced a light rain day but the traction was real good. So far I am very happy with them. Not bad for a set of 4 for under $800 shipped. I'm very satisfied with them and I do a mix of driving all the time. So far grip has been great, road noise is so much more quieter then my Michelin run flats although those were actually pretty good for run flats. The real tests will be full on rain and how long they last. But so far I'm happy

stock 2004
a dealer is telling me that my stock 2004 rims can mount 275/40 17 and the rear 295/35 18. Anyone used this setup??? I would like to try these tires, but they do not make a stock 275/40 18 for my rears..
thanks....

I am running it and the stance/profile is fine. Car handles well on them too. Stock rear size is 295/35/18 anyway.

u have the standard rims???mine is not a z06 or anything, just a conv.
I have the gm 5 spoke hi polish ( looks like crome). I not even sure of the rim width. I think I have been told the z06 rims are wider.

Lets try this another way...I have been told that 275/40 17 will fit my rims, but, there may be a problem with wheel opening. I know the z06 folks are running these. Guess my question is the wheel wells any different between the conv and the z06??

If you don't have Z06 wheels then you probably have 8.5/9.5 wheels. The wheel wells I believe are the same, other then the brake duct in the rears.
I think I've read of people putting 275's on front 8.5 wheels. That's pretty much the widest you want to go though. I personally am running 255's on 8.5's in the front. I mean what else do I really need up there anyway? I've got 295's in the rear on 9.5's.
I know all the info you seek has been covered here before. Just do a search to find out more. This is merely just what I remember reading on the forums.

I have a C5 with 2007 Z06 wheels and they are 9.5 in the front and 10.5 in the rear... I am currently running these same tires with 275 40 17s on the front and 295 35 18s on the rear with no problems at all and great for cornering! Lots of ruber on the ground! Good Luck!

how are these tires in dry traction for WOT first - third? i have read most of this thread and didnt find any comparisons from these to the F1 in dry stright line traction. yes they are cheap, and of coarse they will be good in the rain, but how about dry stright line traction?

I will say that these tires only have about 2k miles on them, so I have no idea how well they hold their traction as they age. However, I am astounded at this point.
If you look at the tread pattern, it defies logic in the wet. There is no good path to get the water out of the center, but somehow it does. I drove the car with these new tires from Lingenfelter in Indiana to Austin Texas straight through hurricane Ike (tip to tip). The rain was insane and we were still able to go >50mph without hydroplaning. Most cars were crawling at <20mph and they were not running wide tires. I have to tip my hat at these guys. Their tires rock.

I concur. In dry conditions these tires will maintain traction in lower gears much better than the Goodyears would. In rain the Goodyears are just plain dangerous while these tires inspire confidence. I only have a few thousand miles on mine so we will have to see how there are once they experience some age and wear.
