The Raleigh paper had a story on the front page today. Said about another month. The yellow stuff is pine pollen.

I live in Zebulon and work in Raleigh. I stop by a car wash every morning and spray car off. Can not stand a dirty car.

Tampa = two bad seasons.... Yellow pollen all over your car season... and Love bugs all over your car season. I ended up getting the duster last year for my black Camaro and it works wonders as long as you have a good wax on the car it comes right off.

Rocky Mount, NC and it's horrible here too. Like this guy said... put a couple layers of a nice wax on and use your cali duster. I dust mine in the morning, usually by lunch my blue car's paint has a green/yellow flake look.

We have a pollen problem here in Tampa, Fl. as well, but not to the extent that during a 15minutes car ride your car is blanketed.
Good luck with it,

It will get that way here in Iowa in a few weeks. I suffer every summer. I feel for anybody that has allergies.

I noticed walking into the restaurant even your footsteps in the parking lot sent a little cloud of pollen up so theres no help till pollen season is over!

Anyone know when the pollen should let up?
Get a yellow car!
Only problem is that bugs are always trying to hump my car.

Buy a California Duster. I have one and it helps.

Here in middle Georgia I think we are through the worst of it. We had thunderstorms last night that knocked some of it off the trees.

Default Stupid Pollen

The pollen count in Atlanta a few days ago was well over 5,700. (120 is a serious problem) NBC News reported the problem: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17918563/ Check out the story.

I've seen some cars around here that have really been dusted bad by pollen. Just that time of year.

Hasn't hit here in MD yet but we know it's coming...and reports are it's supposed to be one of the worst seasons yet for the yellow crap.

Tip: Being older and wiser next time you go out on a date, show up with the Vette dirty (exterior only). This way, she'll think your loaded with money since you own a Corvette and don't care how it looks. Sort of like reverse psychology!
