Is there any vendor that have GP running on this package
the HID-lightning kit for the C5 which is SAE DOT compliant and useally sells for around $900 at Tbyrne ......

I'm not sure, but if you stumble across the Vette-HID website, DO NOT BY FROM HIM!!!!!!! He has ripped off several forum members - myself included.

Vette-HID aka Brian Stange aka NOT-MEE he is a scammer and career criminal according to the authorizes in USA. We have a long mail list of ppl he scammed . If you ask me ppl like Not-MEE should be KOS or at least kicked in the nuts 10 times a day ;-).

I honestly do feel for anyone who got ripped off in the Vette-HID thing, but if you used a credit card you should be able to get that reimbursed.

What I find ironic about this is that when he was selling them everyone was gushing about what a great guy he was, how he put time into instructions, helped locals install them, etc, etc.

Was he just setting the rest of the forum up for a bigger sting? Were those people gushing over him just shills that he hired? How does someone go from hero to heel so quickly?

I guess the point I'm making is that just because someone gives a good deal once or twice, let's not make them out to be St. Theresa right away.

Will this plug and play actually have all of the required connectors, adapters, and things wired properly? That seems to be a huge issue with some of the other kits that have been sold lately.

Nate@CorvetteGarage is the place to get one of these HID kits. You'll get the full housing, not just a bulb replacement kit. All Corvette Forum Members who bought them from Nate rave about them. I already ordered mine and waiting delivery. If you have a chance for a GP, then by all means jump in.

I keep debating on these ... for the right number I would be in. I remember the last time Nate had a sale on these the number was pretty damn good.

I agree 100% with what you said. Remember how all of those people were swearing by him being a great stand-up guy? I remember how he was saying that he made the harnesses and everything when all along it was obvious that the products were from ACA. He even went so far as to use their exact part numbers.
