Default 4 18" rims all the way around?

anyone try running 18 inch rims on all four wheels?

would it mess up the suspension any?

Can you align the tires to handle it?

Lots of members are running 18's all the way around. Many are using the CCW's for exactly that purpose.

No problems with the suspension.

Alignment can be done.

thx for the reply !

whats the biggest ( or tallest) tire size you can run on front with 18's?

You just need to be sure you keep the stagger between the front and rear wheels - can be done by selecting the right size tires.

Does the stagger have to be the exact same ratio as stock or does it just have to be a little bigger in the rear?

I was thinking of running stock 18s front and rear with fatter tires in the rear.

Several members are running the same size front and rear with no problems but others have had gotten some codes. I try to maintain at least a 1/2 inch between front and rear

I'm running 275/35/18's on the front and 335/30/18's on the rear. These are on CCW 505a's with 18x10 inch fronts and 18x11.5 inch rears. Make sure your tire sizes fit the selected rim width for optimum performance, ride and handling.

diameter of the wheel only matters if it clears the brakes or not.

I've run
...
front - rear
245/45-17 - 275/40-18
265/35-18 - 295/35-18
275/35-18 - 295/35-18
275/40-17 - 315/35-17
295/35-17 - 315/35-17

F 265 35 18
B 275 40 18
I like all 18s and the 18/19 combo to.

The wheel offset matters to. +/- The tires may rub or stick out
you will want to look into that. This link is very helpfull.

Same here with my car lowered (cut front bushings and lowering bolts in the rear) no issues at all here and I have been running them for along time now.

If you're going to stagger (as has been advised) you won't be doing any rotating. Even if you don't stagger you can still only rotate front to back (same side) becasue of the directional tread pattern.

how would the computer give you codes if you run same size all around?

rotating front to back would be just fine with me!

rears usually go first

if you blow one tire can have a spare that fits on all 4 tires

when you guys say stagger, you are talking about the difference in the width front to back right? not in the alignment correct ?

stagger to me means a crooked line

any of you guys run road courses with same size tires with any luck? or is it better to stagger the sizes front to back?

it would be nice to just carry one spare in the trunk to the track

whats the widest tire you can run on the old GM N37 Magnesium 18" rims?

To 4 18" rims all the way around?

Saggered means: Taller in the rear and shorter in the front. The stock sizes that came on C5's where approximately a 1" difference in height front to back.

If you want to the same size tires front and rear because of rotating issues, I would suggest you go with 275/53/18 in all 4 corners. JMO

I run 275/35/18 front.....and 295/35/18 in the rear. That's only until I receive my 305/35/18's though.
