C5 Split Window Photo Shop
Looking for Photo Shop C5 Split Window examples. I remember some from a couple of years ago but my search didn't reveal any. Thanks for the help!

Thanks, yeah, I'm a V Corps "Vet". Returned in December (got to change the avatar). Worked a couple of projects with JAG - super folks!

Original '63 -- GM design chief, Bill Mitchell, was so powerful that he insisted that the split window be incorporated into the all-new Sting Ray. As the legend goes, when Mitchell actually sat in the finished coupe and experienced the restricted rear view, he instructed the designers to delete it on the '64 model.
Here is a quickie photochop I just made. I think some vendor did produce an overlay to simulate the split coupe look. IMHO, it looked like an add-on and would not fool most people.

it doesnt look terribly bad but IMO you cant immitate the orignal '63. Though if I did see a C5 with that on the road, it would definantly catch my eye

the ps pic does look pretty good, alot better than the add on that was produced a few years ago. in order to make it look so good you would have to close in all the seams and give up the hatch. which would have it pros and cons. i dont use mine much but you dont miss it untill you dont have it, on the other hand the rear speakers might last longer. i dont know if its all coupes or just mine, but if theres any water on the car and you open the rear the water follows a river bed directly into my speakers. as far as the rear veiw, if you can afford the body work and paint you can probably afford a screen system with rear veiw cam display.( i couldnt)

Looks like a C5 with a thong.
