I start mine when it's in the 40's and drive it between 10 and 15 miles and then put the cover back on for the next few weeks.I have a d/d to drive during the winter because I'm not going to let someone who can't drive in ice or snow hit my VETTE !!!

I store mine every year, generally from November through March. Never start or move it during that period of time. Years ago I had tires that flat-spotted after a period of time. However, the Corvette tires have never flat-spotted on me.

I used to just cover it up and leave it alone from December until April. But the weather here in Michigan has been extremely cold these past few weeks, so I have been starting it up every few days, and just let it warm up to operating temperature. Still get a kick out of listening to it with the Corsa Pace car exhaust on it. If there is no snow or salt on the roads, I take it for a spin around the sub-division. Oh yeah! I can hardly wait until Springtime!

About five years of storage, three of the years it was stored all winter, roughly 4 months.
And two years it was taken out 2 or 3 times when temperatures hit high 50's or more and the fever got me. I dont start it through the storage time though. This winter it was taken out twice the week before Christmas.

Where's that global warming when ya need it?

I start it once in the spring just when I am ready to take it out. Fill up the tank in the fall with Stabil and thats it. This has worked on all my motorcycles and cars without a problem for many years.

Interesting results so far. About what I was thinking. Although I wish I would have added one more poll answer as "It's stored away from my home so only in the spring".

Best Advice you can get. Leave it. Been doing it this way since 1970. Never had a problem. Just make sure you have a battery tender hooked up all winter. check www.lectriclimited.com

Only in the spring----Why would you want (or need) to start it earlier????

I try to start and drive it at least every other week. It is a fair weather ride. The roads must be dry. I enjoy the cold air, with the extra kick it gives you. Mark

Take it out, warm it up, and drive it around the block, when there is
no snow on the roads, once a week if possible.
