I'M BACK !!!! Pick up my 99 Coup tomorrow!
I'm THRILLED to say after lurking around this board for 2 years I can at LAST pick up my C-5 tomorrow 2-6-07 !!!!!!!
I found a Mag Red 99 coup with 70K on the clock FULLY LOADED has everything that car had to offer on it that year for $17k
This is my 3rd (74-84) Vette but my first in 10 years and I couldn't be happier too be back on the team. Only thing that needs to be looked into on the car and after a few weeks of looking on here it seems I'm not the only one that has this issue is the Pass said window. I've heard everything from having the motor checked to just punch the door panel so of course I'll be back for more info on how to deal with that but other than that the car seems to be evry well taken care of by the woman thats owned it so I'm hoping things with just wok out fine.
I haven't been able to do the wave for 10 years and I can't tell you all how much I'm looking forward to that. Becareful because if youre the first Vette I see tomorrow I may follow you waving for 50 miles! lol

Oh, and if slamming the door, punching the door, and taking the panel off to tap the motor with something do not work for you.. shoot me a PM. I have a brand new assembly that I am willing to sell.
I ordered it before I tried taking the panel off and tapping the motor with a screwdriver. I fixed my window the day before it came in.. lol.

Thanks everyone .... been looking forward to this for a long time now. From the minute I got my Camaro after I sold my 84 I knew that was a mistake ... BUT.... I'm back on the team boys!
Hey BBentley40 I'll try the tapping the motor thing it seems to have worked for a number of people if not we can talk.
i just hate that it's so damn cold here right now I'll have too leave the top on for awhile... lol
