Who's going to be driving their Corvette in the WINTER?
I'm in chicago and it's starting to freeze up here. Who's going to be driving their corvettes in the winter? Even with snow on the ground? Pictures would be good too!

I'll be driving mine every day all winter. Of course it rarely snows here. Forum member Torch lives in Alaska and drives his C5 there. Should be okay as long as the snow isn't too deep.

I drive mine everyday the weather allows.
That being said .. bad weather = anytime it will be raining from the time i leave to the time i get home, ice/snow on the roads, storms with result in high winds, etc ...
Normal showers and such is no concern

My C5 is my daily driver, in the winter too. As long as there isn't more than 4-5 inches of snow on the ground, it does just fine. There are only about 2 or 3 days a year when we might get that much snow here, so I've had no problems so far. I run Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S tires all year round and they work fantastic! Saves me the hassle of swapping wheels and tires too.

I am, but I'm going to avoid the ice and snow in the local mountains this time. Those Goodyear EMT's don't do well in cold weather.

Nope. She goes into storage (regrettably) very soon. AND for all of you guys in the warm states..........I hate you.
Just kidding. Enjoy and I wish I was in an all year climate.

I've driven every car I've ever owned year-round and many have been RWD sports cars. For the life of me I can't work out why a Corvette should be any different. Driving a Corvette in the snow is a ton of fun and this will be my sixth year.
I love, though, hearing about people who won't drive their car in the winter as that just adds to the likely hood of getting a low mileage, pristine, C6 Z06 in the near future. So, yes, please don't drive your cars in the winter and, please, do trade up soon. OK?

She's already been hit with about 2" of snow on her As long as the ICE/Snow level isn't too high, I couldn't imagine now driving it, it's my dream car, to me what good is it to have your dream locked up???

I will probably get the car out on good days, but it will not be a daily driver by any means. I've got another car for those bad weather days.
