Default Drove my 1st Z06!

First would like to say Hi to everyone! Currently I own a '01 Z28 which I have loved. I have been looking around for 02-04 Z06 for a few months now. Last night I finally drove one, my first vette for that matter also. I always thought my car was somewhat fast and driving the vette would be somewhat similar. I cannot believe how wrong I was. I'm not sure how a regular C5 would drive, but this '03 Z06 (stock) was a beast! I couldln't believe how much power this car had, torque would probably be the right word. Anyways, as soon as I can sell the Z28 I am definitly getting into one of these!

I had a heavily modded F-Body before I got the Z. It was a fast car and I enjoyed the hell out of it.
When I drove a Z06 for the first time at Spring Mountain School (then called Bragg-Smith) I could not believe the difference. I knew after a couple of laps around the track that I had to have a Z06. The Z28, while fast, felt like a pig after driving a Z06.

Default Z06

I currently have a modded Cobra and an 02 Z06...there's no comparison between the two. With the exception of exhaust tone, the Z06 whipes the cobra clean in all categories.

Did you see the "Z06 Grin"? That's when you glance in the rearview mirror and see that goofy guy grinning back at you ...I've had my Z for about 8 months now and regularly see that goofy guy grinning back !

Good luck with the Z28 sale and hope you land a sweet Z06!

Good to see that you've seen the light now!

A lot of people love to comment on other cars they've never driven or had real life experiences with. Take those opinions with a grain of salt.

Good luck and wish you well in finding a sweet Z06.

I have a stock 03, & yes, it's pretty fast . Maybe even just a teeny tiny bit faster than a Lambo Murcie Roadster from 40-150. That's just something I have heard, I do have ya know.
