Default Steering wheel adjustment problem

Anyone had a problem with the steering column lever that adjusts the steering wheel movement??? My wheel is stuck in the upper most position. Is there an easy fix? I own a 2001 coupe that I bought new. It now has 20K miles on it. Any help would be appreciated.

You may have to take off the Steering Column trim panels to see if something is jamming the mechanism. To get the panels off you need to remove the tilt lever and the steering wheel.
