few noob C5 questions
Hey everyone,
I am considering a C5 for daily duties, but I have basically zero knowledge of them. One question I have, on the models with the sloped rear window that opens like a hatch-back, how much storage room is actually back there? (fyi-I have never been in a C5, or looked at the interior very closely)
can someone post a pick of the rear cargo area for me?
any problem trends with say 2001-2003's? I cant go z06 or FRC because I need some room to carry a few things for work...not even sure if I can go with the slope backed style(forgive my ignorance on the correct lingo lol)
I need to be able to carry a telescoping or fold-up style ladder which is approximately 3.5 to 4 feet long and a small briefcase size toolbag. id much rather justify another corvette than getting a suv just over a little ladder
thanks for any help, Dave

I think you're referring to a coupe. There is a surprising amount of space back there. I've had two sets of golf clubs, soft carry bags, plus several bottles of wine back there no problem. You shouldn't have issuses with your ladder. Plus, you'll get 28-30 mpg on the highway.

im already salivating at the thought of a black c5 parked next to my black 69

I just did $280 in damage at the grocery store the other day in my coupe. I should have taken a pic, but I didnt want to get ridiculed or look like a tool. The only reason I put the 50 lb of dog food on the passenger seat is to not crush my food. There is plenty of room.

I take one of those Quickshade 10x10 canopies, a cooler, cleaning supplies, and a few other things to shows in my coupe. There's lots of room back there.

I put a 10x10' E Z Up in the trunk of my Vert its 4'x9"x9". A coup has more room than a Vert. It does not have 4' width all the way up though.
NICE 69 a C5 is a hole lot more refined and makes a great DD.
