Default Hats off to ECS (again)!

I had ECS install a head/cam package just before CI-VII, and it was SWEET! Sounds fantastic, made great numbers, and the SOTP difference was incredible. I couldn't say enough about how happy I was. Well, right after getting back from CI, I lost all oil pressure. I called Chris, and even though they weren't positive the problem was due to thier work, they sent somebody down (about 4 hours drive) with a trailer to pick it up and check it out. The thing had some problems they said they had never seen before. They insisted on keeping the car until they were sure it was fixed. Well, I got it back yesterday, and it is awesome! I can't say enough about ECS. It's great to deal with a company that will stand behind their work.

It appears to have been the oil pump. But the one they installed with the h/c job spec'd out correctly and bench tested fine. For some reason, every so often, it just wouldn't work until you gave the car a little gas. So just starting the car and letting it idle could well have burnt it up. The new one seems to be good to go. Back on the road with a huge smile again!

Good stuff. It's always great when tuners stand behind their work and go the extra mile to keep their customers happy.
