I was walking out to the car today and noticed two "mature" ladies standing in front of my car. I overhear one of them say, "now that is a corvette". When I walked up she said that is a beautiful car, we were just talking about how the new jaguar looks nothing like a jaguar and you can always spot a corvette. They asked me what year it was. I thought that was neat. They were probably 60ish.

I had an "older" (70 or so) fella park next to my Z06, him and his wife stared quite a bit. When I walked up he they said "Nice Vette." I said thanks. The fella asked how much HP even after looking the badge over, so I figured bad eyes, and told him. He stated that was some good HP and walked off. About 15 feet away he turned and told me the *** end was sitting kinda high. Bad eyes my ***.

I had a similar thing happen to me last week.

My daughter and I had just parked at the mall and started to get out of the car when a late model Caddy pulled in next to us.

A smartly dressed senior couple hopped out of the Caddy and the guy immediately says to his wife (I assumed it was his wife??) "See! I told you it was a Z06!"

They chatted with us for a couple of minutes with him telling me about his '63 split window he used to own and how he wanted to buy a Vette instead of the Caddy.

The funniest thing was when he joked to his wife that if he had "one of those," jesturing toward the Z, Viagra would no longer be needed!

Everyone notices a Vette.

I took my car into the dealer today for a drivers side lock module and when I parked, there was a brand spankin' new 06 Z06 in Velocity Yellow sitting there. An older gentleman looked at both of them and said that he liked mine better. I thought that was a Great compliment.............. and although the new Zee would beat the crap out of my lightly modded (compared to some on here) M/Y 01, I'd have to agree with him!

That's a Great feeling!

I was at the Dunkin Donuts drive thorugh today. A very good looking blonde girl, about 24 or 25 years old was working the dirve through.
Here's the conversation.
Her:Hi, how are you?
Me: Good, and you?
Her:I'm in a pretty good mood today, since the weather's been good. You must be in a good mood cruisin' around in that.

And me, like the dumbass that I am sometimes didn't offer her a ride when her shift ended.


Don't worry I'm going back there soon.
