If you live in Maryland, and you haven't talked to me, you probably pay too much.

Previous poster mentioned Leland West. I am suprised there are not more examples from this company. Are there problems I don't know about. I insured my "new" 1999 vert for $420.00/Year with the following requirements.
Car Agreed value $30,000 $1000 deductable $100,000 coverages on single limit liability
Must be garage kept, No driving to work, 5000 miles per year only.
I'm 37 years old, no tickets or accidents. Coverage meets all Arkansas requirements
Grundy Co. has quoted a cost of $520.00/year with same requirements except no mileage limits and no deductables. May go with them next year. What you think?

Met Life Auto & Home

'97 6 Spd Coupe
$2,012 Per Year, Full Coverage, $300-500 deductables

I'm 22 Years old, I have ZERO citations on my record, in fact i've never even been pulled over! Let alone had any accidents. I've been driving for 6 years and been on my own insurance for 5 of those years.

I'm a Male and I'm under 25 (obviously) and not married...

My Sister pays less than i do, and she has multiple speeding tickets and has even totaled a vehicle in an accident that was her fault.

I've called around to different insurance companies and they're all similarly priced, but i don't won't to go to cheap and get HUGE deductables or crappy service/coverage... I do kinda believe that you get what you pay for so i don't want some "Miracle cheap insurance" who's gonna tell me life is tough if someone totals my car... lol But I also don't like being stereotyped into a 'Dangerous Young Street Racer' category and paying a ton of money because of my idiot peers...

anyways.. i'm ranting... insurance just pisses me off for some reason... and so do Cadillac Escalades... <shudder....>

$650 per year full coverage with Allstate. Good credit score/no accidents/higher deductables, plus I'm old(er).

From Wisconsin;
We've been with Leland-West for about 8 years. 517.00 yr. on our 04 convert. The all important agreed value of 49,000 dollars. I feel that 5000 miles a year is enough for this part of the country. How many of the other policies are agreed value? 53 yo, clean record and good credit score.
Thanks

2000 Convertible $45/month
2002 3500 Duramax $47/month

Got a DWI back in 2000, wrecked the vette in 2002 and the Dually in 2003, about $7000 damage to each vehicle. Also got a speeding ticket 86/65 (reckless driving) in 2003.

I'm 40 years old & single.

I was with Allstate for 10+ years, but their rates really sucked, especially given my record. Switched to Liberty Mutual 16 months ago and got my big break when my policy renewed in December to the rates listed above.

I pay $78/mo.....

I'm 24, PL/PD, $500 deduc. + uninsured motorist collision.
[Too many damn Mexicans here in CA, they don't even have a license, much less insurance] + a speeding ticket from about 3 years ago, it's about ready to come off my points.

Also, I have a SR-22 due to my DUI a couple years ago - LEARNED MY LESSON!

For all you younger guys, take it from me, don't get busted for a DUI!, just park your ride, take a taxi, BELIEVE ME, it's A LOT cheaper & wiser.

Other than that -

I pay $1100 per year for full coverage. Not bad for living in downtown Chicago. My carrier is Liberty Mutual.

Thanks kent/marlene for the comment. How do they know your yearly mileage? If an accident occurs or just by yearly registration? What do you know about Grundy? Have a great day!
