To let all know - the Corvette Forum members (thanks Curt [14u2env] from the snow country in taking us over the top) donated the full amount ($2500) necessary to purchase the Ken King brick from the Corvette Forum, effective at 3pm CDT.
Lets NOT FORGET that the Mckenzie Trust Fund still needs our help, so if you have not donated as of yet, please do so, the additional monies goes directly to that trust Fund
On Monday call 800 538 8338 ~ be sure to inform them the donation is given on behalf of the Corvette Forum

Wow! extreamly sad to hear this. Ken offered to let me use the shop and his help to change my interior for no charge, and I had'nt even met him in person. Great guy!!

I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Ken. He put my interior together for me at carlisle. He was a man of his word and I will always remember him as such. May he rest in peace.

Well i am stunned. I met Ken at Carlisle 2 years ago. What a great guy with a super personality. He did the interior on my 98 LPE. Now I will have his awesome craftmanship and his love for the Corvette community with me always. God Bless and my prayers are with the family
God speed Ken.
God speed Ken.

This is terrible! I just found out about this today. Corvetteworx used to be located in the same complex as VE. Ken became a good friend during that time. I have been trying to reach him for weeks regarding one of our customers orders. I just found out today why i had not got a call back.
He will be deeply missed by us. He was truely a good person, and a lot of fun to be around. It is hard to believe someone as energetic and healthy could suddenly just pass like this. I am in absolute shock!

I only shared a couple of nice conversations with Ken, but those few were enough for me to know that he was the real deal on interior work. Although he will be dearly missed, I hope the great Vette Essential tradition continues. Best to all his family.

I believe the tradition will be continuing. I'll be taking a ride up there to pick up my C6 seats and other items this week.

Damn I just saw this.
My thoughts and paryers go out to Ken's family.
I was an early customer of his and very impressed by his outstanding customer service.
I had ordered his sport package and while I was at a cruise inn he came up to me with a lil tiny trim piece that he had forgotten. I had totally forgot, but Ken had not and he apologized for the oversight (there was never an apology needed). Anyway, I was hooked from then on and recommended his service and product whenever I could.
Last time I saw him was in Chicago. Chatted with him while he put the finishing touches on his yellow vert.
Ken will be sorely missed by us all.
RIP Ken
