A few years ago, I actually drove by Ken's house late one evening when I was in town to pickup my car from Spectre Werks. He was just getting started in this biz big time and stayed up late just to greet me. I think Sandy may have been sleeping in another part of the house. I remember he had just gotten a DVD carousel player in his living room and we even watched part of a movie together.
Wow what a shame! Sandy our prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Oh my I can't begin to tell you how sad I was to hear this. Ken was one of the best out there and he treated every customer as a personal friend. My heart is truely broken to hear this.

I too just spoke with Ken last week about my seats. I'm still numb from the news. He'll be dearly missed by the entire community. My prayers go out to Ken and his family.

I am sad to hear this news. Ken was such a great person to do business with and seemed like a genuinely nice person. I have several VE products in my car and all are of outstanding quality. It was a pleasure to purchase from him, the service was perfect. My best wishes go to his wife Sandy. Good luck in your venture to keep the business going, I wish you well. I had plans to purchase more items in the future. Too nice a person to pass so young.

Such a shock, I am at a loss for words. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends.
I am one of the lucky ones, as I have known Ken ever since I bought my '02 coupe. I met Ken at the first Cruise-in that I went to ('02) in Bowling Green, we spent a lot of time together, and we have been friends ever since. He was truly a class act... honest, humble, sincere, intelligent and the list goes on. When we first met, I knew virtually nothing about Corvettes and Ken took many hours mentoring me on virtually everthing he could help me with.
At Cruise-in '03, Ken installed my VE interior in the parking lot at the Baymont Inn in Bowling Green, after dark and with a flashlight! He could have put me off, I am sure he would have rather been drinking a cold beer and working the crowd, but that would not have been Ken! He was a "man on a mission" and he wasn't going to stop until I had my new interior finished. The impression he made on me was unbelievable!
Ken, my friend, I will miss you... your talent, your friendship, your enthusiasm, your sense of humor, and everything else that has made you so endearing to so many people - you are one of the most likeable people that I have ever met.
I believe that there are three undisputable truths:
1. There is a God.
2. There is a Heaven.
3. Ken King is there and at peace.
God Bless you my friend.

You will be missed
To all of Ken's family....
I have not posted on this forum in quite sometime (maybe as long as a year) but after hearing this horrible news I felt the need to share my thoughts on what a great person Ken was.
A couple of years ago when I was researching options for an upgraded interior for my vette, I called Ken. He was very helpful and friendly, and weather you ordered from him or not, he made you feel important and would spend whatever time was needed to answer any and all of your questions. I met him in person at one of the big vett events, and again, like all of his products, ken was truly a class act. Long live the king -
May god be with your family during this terrible tragedy, best wishes, we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers
