Actually, I don't have them but I'm thinking of it when I go "canyon carving".

My hands get too sweaty driving fast, and shift **** is a billard ball type. Not a good combo, and the sweat will just tear the leather up on the steeringwheel over time.

I only wear gloves with my Dolphin shorts, no matter what temperature it is.

I just bought 4 pair of cutoff leather gloves.(they were on sale at a place going out of business...75% off ) I always wear them when driving the Vette so my hands don't sweat and also because I like the feel of leather on leather. The fingers are cut off right above the 2nd nuckle and I really like the feel of them. And yes I usually wear my hat....

The feel of leather on leather gives an added feeling of control, not to mention more comfort on long drives (in winter).

I am with him. But then there was my uncle who flew fighter planes in the second world war. He couldn't drive without gloves. I don't know how he was able to pick his nose.

Never have, but I think I was given a pair of driving gloves for Christmas years ago by someone who went to visit Germany or some other European countries.

Now that this subject has come up, I think I might try the driving gloves this summer - I've never used them in the past, but I suspect if nothing else, they will be handy for removing the top when it's hot outside!!

I don't think I'm going to like them, or that I'm going to wear them much however since I'm thinking I want to be able to see the whites of my knuckles holding on for dear life after the mods I've done this winter!!
