Default Thumbs up from Porsche

Hello friends ,

Went to a meeting yesterday ( see pics ) a kid came to me and asked :
hey Mister do you really drive that car on the road or is it just for the race track , it's for the raod son .... his jaw was falling open .
When returning home I made a close encounter of the second kind with a Porsche Carrera 2 . Whe played some and the driving next to each other he gave me thumbs up , wich I respectfully returned .
Yeah life is good ....

Normally, people driving a Porsche will not even look at you. Good to see there are some nice people out there.

Z18Corvette,

What is the "black loop" extending near your passenger side foglight?

Could be some sort of requirement for European cars?

Isn't that the loop they chain the car down with on the boats? I normally see them on the back of Japanese cars in the US.

Hey Oldvetter ,

I was thinking this was normal on all Corvette's
And now it seems that the black loop how you call it is there for
European reglementation only .
Yes all Euro Corvettes have that loop and not only in the front
but also in the rear , I gues its there to toe the car .
Wel I see no reason not to mod the car over here in Europe since the
law seems to do some modifications themselves and I like my mods
better

There is always some good out there, you just need to find someone who finds as much joy in their car as we do. Those are the people that will always wave back, and what feeling that is. Gorgeous car by the way z18!!!

That's awesome--I often get a thumbs up from M3s and Porsches after a little spirited driving...
And the other day I had a Murcielago oblige me and show me what it could do...
