I don't think there is a "Best" but some are better than others. I don't have a garage so I have a Wolf cover on my car. It's been used over a year and so far, No Issues, no scratches etc.

I have heard wolf is the way to go on a outdoor cover too.I would not go with a cheap one.Im sure you get what you pay for with something like an outdoor cover.

i have the weathershield HD, it has been exposted to ice, sleet, snow 12 inches last week. i pulled the cover off yesterday and NO WATERSPOTS OF ANY KIND, THE CAR WAS 100% DRY. it is expensive about $380 and it takes about two weeks to get since its a customer fit cover, that being said, it rates the highest of any car cover, if your car is exposted to ice, sleet, snow, tree sap etc.

I purchased a used one from a member here. It was the one out of the Corvette Accessories catalog. Very nice cover, holds all the dust and dirt out while allowing the cover to breathe when it rains.

Slightly off topic...
I have volunteered for an military active duty assignment with a 3 year committment. My wife & I will be moving over 2400 miles to Tacoma, WA. We have three cars; my '01 C5 Coupe, her '04 S2000, and our '04 Honda Civic. While on Spreak Break, my son will tow my Vette via his GMC 2500 HD truck using an Open Car Hauler Trailor. Tomorrow I will order a rear pair of custom mud flaps for his truck for the sole purpose of keeping debris from being thrown onto the nose of my Vette.
I have a Wolf Noah Car Cover, and was thinking about keeping my Vette covered for the +2400 mile journey. Is this a good, or not so good idea?

My car was transported (open carrier) from Alabama to San Diego with only the factory-applied plastic and it arrived in perfect condition.

Another vote for the Wolfe cover. Great warranty: I acquired a tear in mine after some three years. Called Wolfe and was promptly sent a replacement, no charge (not even for shipping), no questions asked. The Wolfe cover fits well, cleans easy, drys fast, and, does not scratch paint.
