WD-40, fishing line, my thumbs, 3M Adhevsive remover and Meguires Scratch X , And then Waxed it. It took 2 hrs.

It Left a black ring , but the scratch X from Mequires took it right off.

My 02 pewter metallic vert does not have them and was actually thinking of putting them on, but decided against after seeing them on others and I did not like the look. But I am thinking at some point putting on those chrome spears.

OK - your car looks better without them - I think.
However, if it is better to HAVE them, I'm willing to sell the millinium yellow ones I took off of mine.
