ZOHHH6 finally in da house!
Hey Everybody-
WickedLT1/Goose and I must be 'brothers from a different mother' as I too own a modded/tracked 96 Z28 and I finally pulled the trigger on an EB 03 Z06. Sorry, don't have pics to post but it's a nice specimen, with only 10K miles on it. The Borla Stinger quad tip is already in place(!!), it's been fully Zaino'd and there are MANY more mods to come.
I've open tracked the Z28 for years - upgraded to 6 piston Wilwoods and +1 rotors up front, 17" wheels, suspension mods, etc, but it still pales in comparison to the Vette....even with the NOS!! On the street - for instance a mountain road - I find myself entering a turn a bit hot and instead of worrying about lifting, braking, etc and so on, I just crank the steering wheel and smile devilishly.
Also it's a bit of a trip to see "Steve Theodore" on the string - that was my Dad's name. He shortened it from Theodoratos.
I'm in Cali/San Jose and hope to see others at Thill, Seca, Buttonwillow or Infineon.
OK, I'm done rambling.
Ciao,
Phil

Thx all for the warm welcome...
I'd forgotten what it's like to be **** about your car and I'm a Virgo so I guess it fits. 8 coats of Zaino later...
MotownPC- I've had months, nay, years to think up a license plate. I was going to do yours basically ZOHHHH6, then my sister chimed in, "It has to be witty AND understandable to noncar folks as well!" Well, I don't want to spill the beans cuz it's not formally approved yet, but rest assured I'll post the pic if/when I get it.
Some of the considered possibilities:
APEXETR/APXEATR
Z OMG 6 (submitted by a buddy)
ZOHHH6N (no one take that one please! I might still use it)
NEVABLU (NEVRBLU is taken)
DA SHIZ (haha, just used DA KAR for an idea)
2MANYHP
ZOHGRIN
ZOGRINZ
GRIN247
I promise I'll stop babblin one of these days soon. : - )

I raced a 1994 Musatng GT, with a Vortech that put out over 520 to the wheels until this past year, when I bought a Eblue 02 ZO6 with 6,000 miles..
The vette is not quite as fast, but man, the all around experience is in a differnt world..
So fast for a stock car, its unbelievable.
Best thing I ever did.. I LOVE THE CAR!
Other than maybe headers, Im not doing anything to this baby, she is great, as is!
