So I picked up my first vette!
Well..not exactly yet, wont be able to pick it up till monday because the owner is out of town. But picked up black C5, 99. Im already in love with this car! Ive already got some black motorsport Z06's off of my old t/a, and an ls6 intake for it. The car went 8.10 1/8 BONE STOCK . It has 85K on the clock, looks as if it has about 30K My plans are to get some black ccw's, lower it,5% tint, corsa indy, and some sort of very small heads and cam. A totally different approach then my first car! Can someone point me in the direction of some badass websites where I can find lots of small things (lettering, the exhaust plate, side vents,etc..) Thanks for your help in advance guys..

Some of you may have seen my old car around here or on other forums. A white Ws.6 with a pretty little lady on/around it, with black wheels on it.
I would post a picture but , the only pic I have left of the car is NWS

Picked up a Vette?
Though I have been a C5 owner for about a year now, I have never picked one up, nor have I ever dreamed of the possibility. I am VERY IMPRESSED at the strength training that those of you who HAVE picked up a Vette, have done to acomplish such a feat. These are not cars of trivial weight!
Seriously......Congrats in becoming a C5 owner. I sure love mine, and have made a lot of great friends through the forum here, and in our local community via Corvette activities. Hope you have as much fun and enjoyment with your car as I have have with mine!

Congrats on your dream car! You've got the fastest and only color that matters - it's all good!
Before you start shopping for all the add-ons, my suggestion is to decide what you want. There are a ton of options available - everything from vinyl stick on letters to raised colored letters to stainless steel. Exhaust plates, decals in the cockpit, under the hood, the list is endless. You will not believe how much is available for the C5!
There is a list down the side of the page that shows all the Forum vendors. Naturally, you can buy from anyone you want, but personally I try to patronize the vendors that make this whole thing possible. Without them we wouldn't have a free forum.
Take a look at some of the members photos and gather your thoughts before pulling the trigger on your shopping spree - in other words, get a plan, Stan! Happy hunting!
