Had the balckwing and just installed the vararam. Much happier with the vararam. Fit wasnt bad either. I liked how the rivets near the opening in the front had a little play in it so its easier to get it where it needs to go. Install wasnt bad either once you got it goin. Took me about an hr to install. And the best part is no more surging issues. Big difference on the highway. I like my vararam.

okay..down to 2 now
I'm leaning towards the Vortex rammer now because the Callaway is WAAY more expensive. $400 more!
so its Callaway Honker vs Vortex Rammer...decisions decisions.
what do you guys think?

Brand new Honker for $450 shipped. If I didn't have an almost new TRAP on my Z, I think I'd have to bite on the Honker. Only intake that relocates the MAF - interesting concept (and I believe what GM is doing on the C6). Good luck with your decision.

To answer your question though, probably the Vararam.

Collections Hold
Vararam here, and probably the Honker will be real close as a leader in performance also. Check out the thread fastest 1/4 times for Z06's and 80/90% of the top 30 are running a Vararam, now if that dosen't speak for itself...
