Default Sequential tail lights installed

Got my http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm tail light mod on Friday and installed on Saturday (easy), works good, looks good, cool mod. Wrapped strips of rubber weatherstipping around the edge of the tail lights before reinstallation to try and keep water out when washing, will find out if it works next time I bathe the babe.
Also installed Top Shade from Mid America.

One of my favorite additions to my AE. I think they look cool and I have gotten several comments about them.

Here's a vid of mine in action.

Funny thing is, I just ordered mine prior to your post. Look forward to installing it once I get done with my road trip. What rubber did you install and what did you do exactly?

Lights look great! But I have a question on the Mid-America sunshade --
How do you like it? I've heard some people say it doesn't fit quite right. And does it snug up against the glass, or do you lose any headroom?

If you give it a good endorsement, I'm ordering mine today!

pcfred, I've had mine installed for q few months now. Being a daily driver Seattle it gets rained on, or washed a few frequently. No problems yet. I'll probably pull them out now and then, clean the gunky dielectric grease and reapply it. Can't hurt. Our cars, especially lowered are like vacuums, and I'd think a fair amount of dust gets up there and sticks to the grease. Better than into the contacts though.

I have weatherstipping I got at a car swap meet in San Diego, rounded on one side, flat on the other with 3m adhesive, I used sissors to cut the rounded part off and used the flat stip around the light fixture. Also used a strip of this to do the hood mod at the front edge of the hood, I got about 20 feet for $12.

I got the $24.95 Top shade instead of the more expensive panel with I would image would reduce head room a little. The stuff I got is like a thick rubbery film of some sort (1/16th inch or so thick) that clings to the glass via static-cling. It went on easy leaving about a half inch or so exposed on each side that doesn't seem to matter. When I got in the car today after work (98 degree day) it mad a huge difference in interior temp. Took a LOT less time for the air conditioner to cool off the car too. I think it's $24 well spent. I also wonder if the same type of material is sold at Lowe's or somewhere.
