Why does it need "debunking"? How could you possibly even begin to consider that you could transmit the radio frequencies that are used to unlock your car doors over the audio channel of a cell phone?

LOL.....I had gotten the same email once, sounds good right? So like some of you, we tried it. But like someone said, it worked b/c the other remote wasnt far enough away. Then took the other remote into the basement, and voila, it didnt work. So there you have it!!!!!!!

I also heard that if you are stuck on the road in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night, if you get out of your car and put your cell phone to your ear, the sun will eventually come up, guaranteed. Try it, it works!!!!!!

FOB transmitt's an RF frequency. Your phone transmitt's voice only.
It won't work unless you've had 10 shot's of Gold and a wild night at Carlos and Charlie's.

Now if someone would make a cell phone that had a built in programmable garage and car door opener.
Hmmm...... next big thing on cell phones w/ camera.
I'd be all over 1 device floating around in the car.
