Default i need a hug...

i'm following my friend through downtown columbus, when his car appears to spew a semi-tire-blowout. semi on my left, box in on my right. no time. everything is in slow motion. BLAM!

front facia near foglight/turn signal housing, SHATTERED. (almost shattered my pants when i saw it). then the tire whipped around and kissed the door.

so i need a new bumper, maybe door, and then the whole right side, front, hood, lights will need to be sprayed. damn.

i know a great shop, so that's good. it will only cost me 500 bills. i'll document it really well for discloser if i sell it down the road.

the problem is, it will probably be out of commision for at least a month..... actually, i can cover all the dammage with a color-match speed lingerie bra, but i really don't want to drive her.

... and the pistons lost. nothing like having your taint kicked while you're down.

.... pics later.

So, did your friend blow the tire or the semi? How fast were you going thru downtown? How close were you following? Whereabouts were you?
I was there last month, visiting a friend up near Polaris.

Sorry about your mishap... can't imagine how you must feel!

Sorry to here but if the semi tire blew it is their responsiblility and they should pay if you had gotten their license plate, especially if they pulled over.

Oh it's just a matter of time here before something like that happens to me. I was driving home very late on night and a whole freaking tire was in the middle of the street. I didn't see it til the last min because I was tired but lucky no one was around me so I could steer around it. Here's a hung for ya

Bummer!!!!! And it's a vert! I hope you don't miss too much of summer. I'd have to think about the bra and waiting until fall.

Sounds to me like it is time for a Tiger Shark front fascia.
