my keyless entry seems to only work when i stand next to the driver side door. anybody have this happen? what could this be, or is it nothing...please help!

Your battery may be on its last legs. The receiver for the fob is located behind the driver's seat, so as the fob signal gets weaker, the last place it would still work is next to the driver's door. I'd try replacing the battery, re-synching the fob, and see if that helps.

You may want to try it when the car is parked indifferent locations. There is interference caused by underground lines, overhead lines, parking lot lights etc. I parked in one lot and could barely get it to work, others it works better, most are fine.
