Default Drive Your Corvette To Work Day (Friday June 24th)

It's that time again. A little more than a week away.

Being retired, guess I'll drive to the local AARP office and pick up that new popular brochure, "Tips on How To Sit Comfortably For Hours in a Car while Wearing Depends"

You know you're getting old when you call the incontinance Hot Line looking for help and they ask if you can "Hold Please," ... and you can't!

Drive your Corvette to work day is always on the Friday closest to June 30. It's to celebrate the birth of the Corvette on June 30. This will be the 5th year for DYCTWD. It's just a way to say "Happy Birthday" to America's greatest sports car.

Some local clubs have an early breakfast meet before they go to work. And of course you can "drive your Corvette to dinner" too.

So drive your Corvette that day and don't forget to

I'm a lucky guesser......do I win the prize for guessing what the day was?

Happy Birthday Corvette
......mine was actually born June 20, 2002.
