V1 and great lakes trophy mount, Infiniti's setting of the laser detector??
I put my V1 and great lakes trophy mirror mount. It seems very loose where the detector slides onto the mount and could possibly come off at WOT (have not tried yet) do any of you have the same problem?
Also has anyone else noticed the V1's laser detector going off when an Infinity SUV passes you? What do they got in there?

V1's are very sensitive and will false report a laser alert if the new style l.e.d. brake light and 3rd brakelights are lit a few car lengths ahead of you.

Can't help you on the V1 mount, but the Infiniti's that are setting off the laser detector in your V1 is due to the cruise control feature that Infiniti has implemented; it uses an actual laser to help determine proximity of vehicles/objects in front of the vehicle to make adjustments to the cruise control.

I had the same issue with the mount and what I did was wrap a single layer of electrical tape around the tounge portion of the mount to keep the V1 visor mount portion from sliding out.
