No. It's not everything I dreamed it would be. I thought it would have more *****...a bit more boost at lower RPM around town. That said, I have no real complaints. I like the car a lot.

I answered yes, but in reality it's much more than I expected or hoped for

On the upside, I really don't think the interior is as plasticy and bad as all the car mags always made it out to be... to me it's just fine, and I'm glad the money went into other things.

Still the best damn performance car I've ever had the true pleasure to own...
I agree with these sentiments, but I would like to add that the column lock fiasco, and some issues with tire pressure sensors have me somewhat sour on the car, when you consider it's price.

Yes, but I keep trying to make it better! Seems like each mod makes me like it even more!

I like it a lot and plan to keep one. However, the noise control should have been much better on the C-5. I don't mind engine or exhaust noise, but road noise is too high. My Chevy truck has less road noise.

Its everything I ever dreamed it could be and more. Its a joy to drive long distances with, its got great fuel economy and most importantly, its been the most reliable car I've ever owned. (knock on wood) I couldn't be happier! I did make a few performance improvements that have given her a bit more kick. I'm also planning on going with nonrunflats for better handling and less road noise but I honestly could have kept her stock and have stayed happy. Mods just make a great car even better!

Oh, yeah, it's everything and more than I thought it would be. I love it to death, baby!! And the abundance of available mods will only make my Corvette better and more enjoyable over time.

100% a dream come true. That it was unexpected is a bonus.

And to add the icing to the cake, when the new model came out I knew that I had no desire to change.

I love my C5.

I love my 02. It is everything I dreamed it would be except for the problems I have had. Steering colum lock - bad crank sensor - broken front spring and now the fuel gauge. The most problems I have had in only 14000 miles with any car!!!

This is great! Thanks everyone for the replys!! Sorry to the guys who
haven't had the results they expected. As much as we'd like to think so,
the Vette isn't perfect, but the fun factor and enjoyment I get from it
sure makes it feel pretty darn close!

The car has totally exceeded my expectations - I have never owned anything that makes me feel the way I do when I'm behind the wheel of this car.

And my forum membership and participation - just like Ed stated so eloquently, has only served to enhance the overall ownership experience!
