A Fair price for my C5 or NOT?
Hey Members, I have an offer of 25,500 for my 2000 Navy Blue Metallic Coupe, Light Oak interior, A4, with 13,000 miles. Pretty much stock. No issues other then the CD player stopped working. Everything else is good to go.
It has polished wheels, active handling, sports seats, memory, electronic dual zone, no HUD.
What do you think? I am selling it to get into a convertible. Talk to me.
Be brutally honest.

Hi azmusclecar -
That sounds like a reasonable price - perhaps a better deal for the potential seller than the potential buyer, but for a well optioned, low mile car - sounds reasonable to me.
best regards -

Last week several Corvettes like yours went through the auctions. The average car had 44k miles and sold for about $22-23K wholesale. Only 2 of the thirty some cars had about the same miles as yours and they both sold for over $26K wholesale. I certainly wouldn't sell it for anything less than what you're offered.

Don't listen to those that say anything other than take it and run to the bank!
I paid $17.5k for my '99 coupe with 52k miles. Buddy of mine is looking at an '01 w/ 23k for $22k.

At that price I'd buy it if I was in the market.

Sounds like a pretty good price. It can't hurt to see if you can get a bit more though - you could always settle on the $25.5K. Good luck.
